Overview
This research applies communication and behavioural theories to comprehensively assess confidence in and acceptance of HPV vaccines in Japan, Korea, and China amongst people who have not received the vaccine, in order to develop effective digital communication strategies to increase uptake.
Methodology
The project employs a suite of mixed-methods data collection and analysis – including a combination of quantitative surveys, experiments, qualitative semi-structured interviews, and social listening data – to examine the target population’s decision-making process. The research also explores the role of healthcare providers in HPV vaccine roll-out, and design effective communication strategies including digital messaging components (messenger, content, platform etc).
