Strategic Integration of interpersonal Communication in National Immunisation Curricula for Health Workers

Overview

In response to the call from UNICEF ECARO to address vaccine hesitancy among health workers, this project aims to support UNICEF Country Offices in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Republic of Moldova, Romania, and Uzbekistan to engage with national stakeholders to strengthen national training curricula and integrate targeted, culturally grounded interpersonal communication practices into training curricula for health workers in each country.

Primary Objectives:

To conduct online Delphi survey to identify priorities for adapting the current training curriculum, based on the consensus building process among local frontline health workers and decision-makers, in each country

To develop country training packages for relevant stakeholders in each country to use as tools to drive implementation efforts in integrating interpersonal communication for immunization into national training curricula
