Vaccine confidence in Hong Kong is high compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Hong Kong is from surveys conducted in 2019 which showed that 77% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 81% think they are effective. 83% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 60% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.
Between October 31, 2020 and December 15, 2020, 26,759 individuals were surveyed across 32 countries via nationally representative survey designs.
This systematic review aims to identify the social consequences of mass quarantine during previous and current infectious disease outbreaks and recommended strategies to mitigate the negative social implications of COVID-19 lockdowns.
