The latest data we have for Bangladesh is from surveys conducted in 2018 which showed that 98% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 98% think they are effective. 99% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines.
Confidence in vaccines in Bangladesh has increased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, 98% of people felt that vaccines were safe while 93% thought they were effective. 99% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines and 66% felt that vaccines were compatible with their religious beliefs.
