The latest data we have for Canada is from surveys conducted in 2018 which showed that 77% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 82% think they are effective. 88% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines.
Confidence in vaccines in Canada has declined since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, 85% of people felt that vaccines were safe while 85% thought they were effective. 89% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines and 70% felt that vaccines were compatible with their religious beliefs.
