The latest data we have for Algeria is from surveys conducted in 2018 which showed that 65% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 66% think they are effective. 84% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines.

Confidence in vaccines in Algeria has declined since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, 88% of people felt that vaccines were safe while 87% thought they were effective. 97% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines and 50% felt that vaccines were compatible with their religious beliefs.
