The latest data we have for Croatia is from surveys conducted in 2022 which showed that 68% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 74% think they are effective. 60% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 63% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.
Confidence in vaccines in Croatia has declined since the first surveys carried out there. In 2018, 78% of people felt that vaccines were safe while 86% thought they were effective. 89% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
