Vaccine confidence in Lebanon is high1 compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Lebanon is from surveys conducted in 2020 which showed that 87% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 90% think they are effective. 94% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 74% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.

Confidence in vaccines in Lebanon has declined since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, 85% of people felt that vaccines were safe while 90% thought they were effective. 97% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines and 80% felt that vaccines were compatible with their religious beliefs.
