The latest data we have for Liberia is from surveys conducted in 2022 which showed that 78% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 76% think they are effective. 76% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 67% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.
Confidence in vaccines in Liberia has declined since the first surveys carried out there. In 2018, 96% of people felt that vaccines were safe while 67% thought they were effective. 98% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines.
