Vaccine confidence in Morocco is very high1 compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Morocco is from surveys conducted in 2020 which showed that 78% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 78% think they are effective. 99% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 98% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.
Confidence in vaccines in Morocco has increased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, 89% of people felt that vaccines were safe while 89% thought they were effective. 96% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines and 74% felt that vaccines were compatible with their religious beliefs.
