The latest data we have for Pakistan is from surveys conducted in 2022 which showed that 68% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 65% think they are effective. 66% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 53% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.
Confidence in vaccines in Pakistan has declined since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, 92% of people felt that vaccines were safe while 86% thought they were effective. 93% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines and 81% felt that vaccines were compatible with their religious beliefs.
