Vaccine confidence in Palestine is very high1 compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Palestine is from surveys conducted in 2018 which showed that 89% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 88% think they are effective. 98% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines.
Confidence in vaccines in Palestine has increased since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, 87% of people felt that vaccines were safe while 86% thought they were effective. 88% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines and 80% felt that vaccines were compatible with their religious beliefs.
