The latest data we have for Russia is from surveys conducted in 2022 which showed that 57% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 60% think they are effective. 49% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 82% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.
Confidence in vaccines in Russia has declined since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, 64% of people felt that vaccines were safe while 73% thought they were effective. 77% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines and 85% felt that vaccines were compatible with their religious beliefs.
