The latest data we have for Sweden is from surveys conducted in 2022 which showed that 85% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 88% think they are effective. 88% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 75% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.
Confidence in vaccines in Sweden has declined since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, 89% of people felt that vaccines were safe while 92% thought they were effective. 94% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines and 70% felt that vaccines were compatible with their religious beliefs.
