Vaccine confidence in Turkey is high1 compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Turkey is from surveys conducted in 2018 which showed that 73% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 78% think they are effective. 84% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines.

Confidence in vaccines in Turkey has declined since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, 78% of people felt that vaccines were safe while 89% thought they were effective. 95% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines and 86% felt that vaccines were compatible with their religious beliefs.
