Vaccine confidence in Kosovo is high1 compared to other countries. The latest data we have for Kosovo is from surveys conducted in 2019 which showed that 85% of people feel that vaccines are safe and 85% think they are effective. 94% of those surveyed said they believe it’s important for children to have vaccines and 58% feel that vaccines are compatible with their religious beliefs.
Confidence in vaccines in Kosovo has declined since the first surveys carried out there. In 2015, 83% of people felt that vaccines were safe while 89% thought they were effective. 97% said they believed it was important for children to have vaccines and 58% felt that vaccines were compatible with their religious beliefs.
