Biography
After leaving her studies as Biomedical Engineer in Leuven, Belgium in 1986, Greet completed a postgraduate certificate in Biotechnology and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Louvain. She then spent 18 years working in research and development, and later as product manager, at INNOGENETICS, a start-up biotech company in Ghent, specialised in diagnostics for infectious diseases, including Hepatitis assays and assays to detect genetic disorders.
Since 2007 Greet has been working as a Senior Project Coordinator within VAXINFECTIO at the Centre for the Evaluation of Vaccination, University of Antwerp. Greet mainly supports the activities of the Viral Hepatitis Prevention Board and is also involved in national and international projects on vaccine confidence, communication and education.
